Federal, Punjab, KP and Bolichsitan Governments did not grant any relief to the employees and pensioners in the Budget 2020-21. However, only Sindh Government granted the ARA-2020 at the following rates:
BS-01 to 16 = 10%
BS-17 & above = 05%
Start Date: 1st July 2022
Converted into Differential Allowance 2022 Sindh
Disparity Reduction Allowance 2021 @ 25% for Federal
Federal Government granted a DRA-2021 to Federal Employees wef 1st March 2021.
Rate of Allowance = 25% of running basic pay
Frozen wef 1st March 2021
Adhoc Relief Allowance 2021 @ 10%
All Governments of Pakistan except the Sindh Govt granted this allowance @ 10% of running basic pay. Sindh Government granted 20% Allowance wef 1st July 2021.
Starting Date: 1st July 2021
End Date: Merged into Revised Basic Pay Scales 2022 wef 01-07-2022
Special and Other Allowances 2021
Punjab Government granted special allowance @ 25% of Initial Basic Pay wef 1st June 2021. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Govt favored the employees with Special Allowance 2021 KPK @ 3500/- per month but with different conditions. This allowance was for the employees of BPS-07 to BPS-16. For the replacement of this allowance to lower grade employees and other employees of BPS-17 and above, the KPK Government granted other allowances.
Effective date: 1st June 2021
DRA-2022 @ 15% Federal
Till 31st March 2022, only Federal Government granted Disparity Reduction Allowance 2022@ 15% of the current running basic pay. Federal Government has instructed the provinces to grant the same allowance to their provincial government employees.
Start Date: 01-03-2022 on current running basic pay
End Date: Still admissible but at the frozen level as of 01-03-2022. The new comers will get this allowance on the initial of 2022 pay scales @ 15%.
Adhoc Relief Allowance 2022
All governments granted Adhoc Relief Allowance 2022 @ 10% of running basic pay of 2017 Basic Pay Scales. This allowance was also frozen on the level as on 01-07-2022. The new entrants will get this allowance on the initial of 2017 Pay Scales.

Why the education departmwnt of KPK is still giving 33% of ARA 20Q3 AND 2014
3% was not merged when the federal government granted 7% and KPK Govt 10%. 7 percent was merged into pay scales and 3 percent remained as a separate allowance in KP.
