Establishment Division has approved the re-designation of Stenographer as Assistant Private Secretary vides Letter No. 1/4/2008-R-6 dated 20th February 2013.
In response to Finance Division O.M No. 1(110) R-I/12-798 dated 08-01-2013, Establishment Division has conveyed the approval for re-designation of the post of Stenographer BPS-16 as Assistant Private Secretary BPS-16 subject to approval of Secretary, Finance Division in terms of Para 3 (i) of Establishment Division O.M No. 8/36/2000-R-I, dated 20-01-2001 and amendment in uniform Recruitment Rules of ministerial posts. AoA. I am glade to publish the OM in your esteemed site. I wish to clear my mind to know that if Approval has already been granted by Establishment Division then why it is “Subject to approval of Secretary Finance”. Whereas, there is no Financial Benefit or impact then why approval of Secy Finance is mandatory? and one more thing, will another Notification from Finance Division be issued? Plz clarify and oblige.
Dear according to my knowledge the Final decision will be issued by the Finance Division as the Finance Division had asked for recommendation on this matter.
