Notification of Grant of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2013 @ 10% for the Federal Govt Employees

Finance Div Regulation Wing Islamabad has issued Notification No. 1 (2) Imp/2013-364 dated 16th July 2013 in connection with Adhoc Allowance 2013 @ 10% to the Federal Govt Employees wef 1st July 2013.

This Allowance has been sanctioned wef 01-07-2013 at the basic pay to all the civil employees of Federal Govt as well as Civilians paid out of Defence Estimates including contingent paid staff and contract employees on the following conditions:

The amount of this Adhoc Relief Allowance 2013”

(i)                 Will be subject to income tax.

(ii)               Will be admissible during leave and entire period of LPR except during Extra Ordinary Leave.

(iii)             Will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension/Gratuity and recovery of HR.

(iv)             Will not be admissible to the employees during the tenure of their posting/deputation abroad.

(v)               4th condition is available at the notification.

The Term Basic Pay for the purpose of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2013 will also include the amount of the personal Pay granted on account of annual increments beyond the maximum of the existing Pay Scales.

The above Adhoc Relief Allowance 2013 shall be accommodated from within the budgetary allocation 2013-2014.

  2. aoa dear please tell me that my father expired on 25th april 2013 would the allowances of 2010,11 n 12will also be included in family pension?plzzzzzzzz rply.

  3. i come to know that punjab govt has notified the same as all other provinces @15% for BPS 1-16 (non gazetted) and for higher posts @ 10%.
    dear shumaila ye to sirf federal employees k sath ziadti ki gyi ha. chote mian ne to sindh, balochistan ki hi takleed ki ha. plz comments.

    میں مورخہ 5 جولائی 2013 کو سروس سے ریٹایرڈ ھوا ھوں۔ پلیز مجھے بتا دیں کہ پنشن میں کتنا فائدہ ہو گا۔نوٹفیکشن میں لکھا ھے کہ یکم جولائی کے بعد ریٹائیرڈ ہونے والے ملازمین کو 2010 سے لے کر 2013 تک پنشن میں 50 فی صد اضافہ بھی ملے گا۔پلیز وضاحت کر دیں

  5. sir, agha aamir and madam shomaila here are some appellants address who have applied in fst isamabad regarding inclusion of adhoc allowances till 1999-2009 toward calculation of pension in their appeals no.1520(r)cs/2011-2072(r)cs/2011 and fst islamabad had allowed their appeals and given orders to recalculate their pensions on 22-02-2012. you have to make contact to these applicants for further information on said case and make efforts to approve this case in favor of all pensioners.

    Dear Madam,

    Federal Government Employees will get increment of 30 % in their running basic pay (10 % Adhoc Relief plus 20 % as per decision of Islamabad High Court). Where as provincial employees will get increment of 10 to 15 %. How long this discimination will continue? Do you have any such notification for Provincial Govt Employees?

    I am in need of copy of Federal Service Tribunal order of 22 February 2012 on Appeals Nos.1520,1520, 1521, 1522A to 2072(R) CS/2011 etc. The Tribunal decided in favour of appellants who had demanded that Dearness Allowance and Ad Hoc Relief allowance etc should be reckoned as emoluments towards pension calculation.

    Any friend having copy of that FST order is requested to please send to me a scanned copy of that order.

      My dear brother.Agha Amir sahib; the decision of appeals made by finance ministry isld against said cases has been reserved in the august supreme court of Pakistan.kindly pray to Allah almighty. when announced by court in the favor of poor employees.be implemented.

          1. If the query on tax rebate relates to 75% reduction in tax liability of teachers etc., then I can tell that the reduction rate has been revised to 40%. This has been confirmed from circular available at FBR website also. Finance Act has brought about this amendment in Schedule II to the Ordinance.

    Fedral Govt ne 10% adhoc releaf ka notification conditions ky sath kar dia hay . ab dekhty han Choto sb punjab govt ko kin sharait ky sath issue karny ka kehty han , Aik bar tu wo contract employees ko regular kar kay apna wada pura kar chukay han chahy election commission ney un ky order ko ban hi kiun nah kar dia lakin afreen hay jo unhon ne dubara is masly per bat b key ho bas Mulazmeen kay vote ki unko zarorat thi hakomat banany ky ly wo mil gay ab tu allah hi hadayat dey baqi hamari tu allah se umeed hay cm sb ko tu bijly buhran se hi fursat nahi hay

  14. Yeh adhoc allowance mujhe 10% ki bajai 10 pese ka lag raha hai. Kuch bhi nahi kia APCA ne aur clerks ke salary men 500-600 ka izafa hua hai jis se ek kilo gosht bhi nahi ayega. Itne intezar k bad notification jari kia hai jese pata nahi kon sa khazana de rahe hain employees ko.
