Directorate of Public Instruction (Elementary Education) Punjab Lahore has issued Notification No. 3588/Youth Festival/13-14 dated 20th December 2013 in connection with the clarification of the winter holidays in Punjab Educational Institutions during the Youth Festival 2014.
According to this Notification, no holiday is cancelled. The schedule of Punjab Youth Festival 2013-14 given to you the three days with effect from 26th December 2013 to 28th December 2013 are coming in winter holidays. The following will arrange for the events:
- The Executive District Officer (Education)
- District Education Officer
- Head Teacher
Only the Venue selected by the Executive District Officer (Education), District Education Officer and Deputy District Education Officer will be opened for the Punjab Youth Festival 2013-14 not all the institutions. This is to save the time and to meet the schedule of Matriculation, 5th Grade and 8th Grade Exams.
