Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division, Islamabad has issued Notification No. 53/1/2013-SP dated 7th April 2014 in connection with Relax of Ban Recruitment or Extension in Contracts Federal Govt .
On the directions of the Prime Minister Office, ban was imposed on extension in contract appointment of already recruited contractual employees vide O.M No. 53/1/2013-SP dated 6th February 2014.
It is now decided that in all cases where special permission have been granted to relax the ban on recruitment or extension in contracts, the merit, transparency and adherence to rules/regulations/policy shall be ensured. Minister/Secretary/Head of Department will be personally responsible for ensuring compliance of these instructions.
