Government of the Punjab Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD.SR.I.9-4/86 (P) (PR) dated 21st April 2014 in connection with Revision in the Rates of Conveyance Allowance for the Civil Servants of the Punjab Government in BPS-20 & Above.
It is stated that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to revise the rates of Conveyance Allowance admissible to the civil servants in BPS-20 and above, not availaing Government vehicles (Sanctioned/pool), with effect from 1st October 2013. The detail is as under:
| Basic Pay Scale | Existing CA | Revised CA |
| BPS-20 to BPS-22 | Rs.2480/- per month | Rs.5000/- per month |
It is further clarified that the employees who are residing in the residential colonies situated within the work premises are not entitled to the facility of Conveyance Allowance.
