Government of Pakistan Finance Division. Islamabad has issued Notification No. 9(6)R-I/2014-165 dated 14th May 2014 in connection with Upgradation of Teaching Staff in FGEI with effect from 1st January 2011.
In reference to Ministry of Defence’s O.M No. 4/3/D-22/2010 dated 28th April 2014 on the subject matter and is conveyed the approval of the Up-Gradation of the following posts of Teaching Staff in FGEI (Cantt/Garrison), subject to the amendment in Recruitment Rules and filling up the up-graded posts in the manner prescribed in the Establishment Division Letter dated 31st December 2008 with effect from 01-01-2011 i.e the date from which these posts were upgraded in FGEIs under Federal Directorate Education (FDE).

While appreciating your efforts on the subject of civil service, i would like to draw your kind attention on the following aspects, for clarification of the FGEI up-graded teachers, and general public as well.
a). You have prepared an Excel Sheet for calculation of arrears for upgraded employees w.e.f 01-01-2011, but the concerned Account Officers (CMA) are deducting the “Income Tax” @ 5% on total amount of arrears claimed ; and
b). Not including the amount of Medical Allowance, which is required to be fixed @ 1500 per month. Hence, giving a loss of Rs. 23,100 out of arrear amount (This amount is pertaining to TGTs (BS-16).
Kindly clarify, as the arrears involved are not subject to deduction of Income Tax.

Aoa mam! If in future the computer intructors get promoted to bps 18 then will they still teach at school level or there is any chance of going for college level teaching?
Dear Hassan, Computer Instructors are School Cadre teachers so they will teach still in schools even they promoted in BPS-18.

hello ma’am ,plz upload the list of lucky upgraded teachers under the latest up gradation order and i have a question too. plz tell me about that teacher who is working for last 15 years and still not upgraded just becoz of b-ed degree.do u think he or she is still unqualified for up gradation?
Dear Teacher qualification is the basic thing without prescribed qualification upgradation is not possible.
what if a teacher has required qualification and his service tenure is also meets criterion,and his colleagues get promoted but he is not.from where that person should get reason that why he is not included in list?
Dear Imran he should apply through proper channel with full documentary proofs.
many well known schooling systems have no use with these degrees like b-ed and m-ed .they have their own teaching and learning courses.these schools of like yours have old and conventional ways of promotions.anyhow thats a backfire towards your high authorities that teachers serving in your institutes spend their half life time and have no acknowledgement.all of us are well aware of completion of b-ed and m-ed courses.

In case of FG islamabad model schools the condition was three years service for TGT but here it looks like the only condition of qualification. may be directorate of fgei impose it but hope for the best
