Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has already issued Notification on 20th July 2010 in connection with Change in Offer of Appointment of Teacher Educators Appointed on Contract in DSD.
The TORs of Contract of Teacher Educators contain protection of pay and they may not be deprived of the benefits for which they are entitled under the rules. It is therefore requested that Teacher Educators cannot be given lesser salary or benefits to their entitlement when they were on their original post. TORs of category II of Teacher Educators may be followed by giving employees salary which they are entitled to on their original posts with allowance of Teacher Educators.
The advice issued by the Department vide this department’s letter dated 24-09-2009 on the subject matter is clear and needs no further clarification.
