Conveyance Allowance Rates have been changes many times during the last three decades. Here I am giving you the detail of Increase in Conveyance Allowance for the Govt Employees Since 1987.
I have already published the articles Increase in Medical Allowance Since 1987 and History of Adhoc Relief Allowances. Keeping on this serial I am today publishing the detail of the Conveyance Allowance Increases since 1987. The detail is as under:

I have divided the Increase in Conveyance Allowance history in four categories that are mentioned below with detail:
Increase in Conveyance Allowance with effect from 01-07-1987
This chart of increase in CA displayed on 1st July 1987. The employees who had motorcars would have to show the vehicle registration to get more conveyance allowance. The employees who had motorcycles also got more CA.

Increase in Conveyance Allowance with effect from 01-06-1994

Increase in Conveyance Allowance with effect from 01-12-2001
The Notification of Revised Pay Scales 2001 made the conveyance allowance simple. The gazetted employees got Rs. 620/- per month CA.

Increase in Conveyance Allowance with effect from 01-07-2005 to onwards
This notification is the simplest one where no condition of registration of vehicles was required. The employees got the CA as per their Basic Pay Scales.

Benazir Bhutto the former Prime Minister was freeze the house rent during 1996 and that is still freeze up to date i.e., 31-12-2014. it is unjustified for those Punjab government employees who have not residing in government accommodations.

i am working as pst education department kpk bps 12 and my conveyance allowance is 2720. which is different from your table
Dear Nazar the CA 2720 is not allowed any where in the country for the BPS employees. However it is 2856 for the employees of BPS-10 to 15.

My advise to the Govt: is that,medical allowance may be given equally all employes,and this should be Rs=5000/,regardless scales.
Winds always blows against Govt: employees.

Dear Tetani, this is only the history of the Conveyance Allowance. This is not to impact on the present Conveyance Allowance.

kya koi bata sakta ha ka 1986 ka baad MNA or MPA ke salaries ma kitna izaffa huu………..logon ko govt. servants tu nazar atta han lakin MNA or MPA ……………………………..sath he loog ya bhul jata han ka mahngae uss dour ma kitni thi or aaj kul ka dour ma kya hissab kitab ha…….
MNA or MPA hur dafa jub new assembly ma atta han tu phouran apni salaries or apna allowances bara lata han …………koi uss pur kyo nahe baat karta……………………….
