Govt of Pakistan Finance Division has issued Notification No. F.No.11(1)R-2/2007-590 dated 06-01-2015 in connection with the grant of one increment to the pensioners who stuck up at the maximum stage for a long period.
Increment to the Pensioners Who Stuck Up at the Maximum Stage
It is to mention here the the Finnace Division has already issued a Notification No. F.No.11(1)R-2/2007-590 dated 13-07-2010. Earlier one increment was only granted to those persons at the time of retirement who had at least 6 months regular service in the year of retirement even their pay was stuck up for a long period due to the maximum of stage.
But now it has been decided that these persons are eligible for one increment even if they have less service than 6 months in the year of retirement. This increment will only be granted to the persons who were stuck up for a long period at the same pay due to the peack of their stage. The replacement as as under in the above referred Notification:

Usual increment to the pensioners, who retires during 1st June to 30th Nov is already being allowed, due to the reason that they have completed 6 months period after Annual Increment.
But instant notification pertains to the pensioners who retires prior to 1/12/2001 and remained at the maximum of the Pay Scale for a period of 6 months or more.Therefore, said notification is not attractive in the case of Safi Ullah’s Father.
