Notification of Transfer of Ministerial Staff on the Basis of Over Tenure

Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department has issued Notification No. S.O (E.M)16-17/2014 dated 03-02-2015 in connection with Transfer of Ministerial Staff on the Basis of Over Tenure.

According to this letter, I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that on perusal of a report regarding over tenure of ministerial staff of Higher Education Department, the Chief Minister has been pleased to approve as under:

“According to the report of Deputy Director Colleges, Mianwali, it has been pointed out at the end that over tenure of clerical staff is creating such situation and shuffling of this staff after every three years can bring better environment in Colleges of this District.”

It has further been observed by the Department that most of the ministerial staff is working at a particular place/post since long and has not been shuffled on completition of normal tenure of posting in accordance with Transfer Policy issued by Government of the Punjab. Due to non-implementation of these instructions, various administrative as well as other problems are being faced by the Department.

The Competent Authority has taken serious view of this situation and has directed that all the ministerial staff who has completed normal tenure of posting, may be shuffled across the board and compliance report be submitted within a fortnight positively for info to the Chief Minister.
