Government of the Punjab School Education Department has issued Notification No. SO (SE-IV) 2-34/2009 (Transfer) dated 26-02-2015 in connection with adjustment of teachers against notified vacant posts in Punjab Schools.

According to this Notification, a number of teachers have been transferred due to non-availability of their substitute or any other reason during the lifting of ban on transfer/posting in 2014 wherease they have been working in the present schools for more than three years and far away from their residences. Further, they will again miss the chance for transfer during lifting of ban in summer vacation 2015 due to filling of existing vacant posts through recent recruitment of Educators going to be completed within March 2015. On transfer of their substitute may be provided through recruitment of newly recuited Educators.

Directions regarding preparation of plan for adjustment of teachers serving in far flung areas against notified vacant posts have already been passed during the EDOs (Edu) Conferenced dated 26^th November 2014 and 6^th February 2015 held at Directorate of Staff Development, Lahore.

Districts have already notified the vacant posts on which the posting of newly recruited Educators is required as per Clause 9 (b) of Recruitment Policy 2014 for Educators. Therefore the respective transferring authorities are allowed to issue transfer orders of teachers against notified vacant posts upto 15^th March 2015 according to the Transfer Policy 2013. The transferred teachers shall perform additional duty in their present schools until the joining of their substitutes which is mandatory under Transfer Policy 2013. However the number of advertised posts of Educators in the respective categories and Tehsils shall remain intact for adjustment of newly recruited Educators.

The EDOs (Edu) shall provide the list of newly recruited Educators to the Program Director, Directorate of the Staff Development Lahore before 25^th March 2015 for induction training.
