Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued Notification No. SO (SE-III) 5-28/2014 dated 20-04-2015 in connection with Revised Criteria for the Promotion of Grade 5 and Grade 8 Candidates 2015 Exams under PEC.
I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that the students who appeared in grade 5 and grade 8 PEC Exam 2015 be promoted in the next class subject to the following criteria:-
- Students of Grade 5 & 8 who obtained atleast 33% marks shall be declared as pass.
- Students of Grade 5 & 8 who obtained 25% marks in each subject shall be promoted to the next class.
- Students of Grade 5 who obtained atleast 33% in three subjects shall also be provisionally promoted to the next class subject to the condition the students will have to pass the fail subjects. The Head Teachers of present schools may arrange examinations during summer vacations and
- Students of Grade 8 who obtained at least 33% marks in four subjects shall also be promoted to next class provisionally subject to the condition these students will have to pass the fail subjects. The Head Teachers of present schools may arrange examinations during summer vacations.
Further Revision in Criteria for the Promotion of Grade 5 and Grade 8 Candidates 2015 Exams under PEC
