Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division has issued Notification No.2/3/2015-T-V dated 14-01-2016 in connection with Determination of Length of Service in Case of Repeaters. The detail of the same is as under:

Determination of Length of Service in Case of Repeaters

According to this Notification, the undersigned is directed to refer to Establishment Division’s O.M. No.7/3/2015-T-V dated 17.03.2015 on the subject cited above. In compliance with the order of Lahore High Court direction dated 22.05.2015 in a Writ Petition No.9837 of 2012, the Secretary Establishment Division is pleased to issue following order :-

In the past cases of repeaters of CSS and re-allocation to another Occupational Group the length of Service of an officer for all future appointments / promotions will be considered from the date of commencement of CTP of that particular batch.

2. All Ministries / Divisions / Departments / Services controlling the Occupational Groups / Services are requested to extend benefit of above order to all those officers who repeated CSS and as a consequence directly joined STP of the group / service to which he / she is re-allocated.
