Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD.PC.39-14/77(Pt.IV)APCA/2008(Provl) dated 11-02-2016 in connection with Clarification of Upgradation of Junior Clerk, Senior Clerk, Assistant/Head Clerk and Superintendent in Punjab.
I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that after the upgradation of different posts, some queries have been raised by the Accounts Offices regarding admissibility of subject allowances to the incumbents in upgraded posts.
The queries and the stance of Government of the Punjab, Finance Department may be perused as under for further necessary action. The summary of the queries is as under:
- Admissibility of Adhoc Relief Allowance 2010
- Special Allowance 2009 @ 20%
- Adhoc Relief Allowance 2013 @ 10%
- Adhoc Relief Allowance 2014 @ 10%
- Medical Allowance @ 15% of Basic Pay
- Upgaradtion of Contract Junior Clerk, Senior Clerk, Assistant/Head Clerk and Superintendent in Punjab

Dear Mr./Ms. Admin:
why there is not mentioned criteria of service experience of the clerks..for suppose one has appointed as clerk in BPS-7 and other is working since last 10 years on the same post of clerk in same BPS-7… Then, is old one will be promoted in BPS-14…..? because he/she have 10 years experience….!
I want to know about the criteria of seniority? if someone has huge experience but unfortunately he/she has not moverovered/promoted in BPS-9, then what would be the benefit to them who are seniors?

Government should also focus to upgrade the technical staff of the departments like pakistan meteorological department.Technical staff is also serving in the progress of their concerned department along with admin staff.Otherwise technical cadre employees have to come on road, which is not appropriate.

medam please update Punjab government pay protection notification.please I have urgent need of it. Because AG Office is not protecting my pay i was permanent in BPS-11 form 2009 now i have be appointed on contract in same department on BPS 12 for fiver years.I have been placed on initial basic pay of BS-12, RS-9055. I was drwaing already 11555 my basic pay in BPS-11.Please guide and help me by providing notification.
