Government of Pakistan, Finance Division has issued Notification No. F.8(1)R-10/2011-80(Vol-III) dated 18-02-2016 in connection with Revision of Daily Allowance for Gawadar City.
As you know Gawadar City has already been declared as Big City for the purpose of House Rent Allowance @ 45%. Now in the list of Special Cities Gawadar has also been included with immediate effect.
In the letter issued on 17-08-2012 the following cities were included as Special Stations for Special Rates:

- Karachi
- Sukkur
- Bahawalpur
- Deral Ghazi Khan
- Multan
- Quetta
- Sargodha
- Sialkot
- Lahore
- Gujranwala
- Rawalpindi
- Islamabad
- Faisalabad
- Peshawar
- Northern Areas
- Muzaffarabad
- Mirpur AJ& K
