Government of Balochistan, Education Department has issued Letter No. SO (S-II)1-29/2015 /Edn:11359-6 dated 22-02-2016 in connection with Upgradation of SST from BPS-16 to BPS-17 Balochistan.

The subject of the letter is “Upgradation of the post of SST BPS-16 to BPS-17 of Balochistan Package Teachers on B.Ed Basis”.

The undersigned is directed to refer to your letter No. GAD-II/2014-15/304 dated 19-01-2015 addressed to Finance Department and a copy to this Department and to state that service rules amended vide Notification of the dated 19-11-2015 (F/A), envisage all SSTs including Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan Package teachers with Grade BPS-17, having academic qualification and professional qualification as under:

a- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science at least in second division from a recognized university and

b- Bachelor’s Degree in Education at least in second division from a recognized degree.
