Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued Notification No. SO(SE-III)5-39/2016 dated 20-04-2017 in connection with Promotion and Award Higher Scale under Uplift & Upward Mobility Package and Pending Mover Over Cases Prior to 2001. The detail of the same is as under:

It has been noticed with deep concern that inspite of strict directions issued by the department from time and again, the promotion uplift & upward mobility package and move over cases (prior to 2001) are pending in the districts since long. The teachers are not responding to redress their grievances.

The Competent Authority has taken a serious notice of this negligence / inefficacy on the parts of Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) & concerned District Education Officers and directed that all promotion, uplift & upward mobility package etc cases may be finalized upto 15.05.2017. In case of non-compliance/negligence action will be initiated against the responsible officers/ officials.
