Government of the Pakistan, Finance Division (Budget Wing) has issued letter to the Controller General of Accounts Islamabad vide No. F.8(1)GS-I/2007-1134 dated 15-08-2017 in connection with Notification GP Fund Interest Rate 2017 (Markup Rate on State Provident Fund. Detail is as under:
I am directed to convey that the rates of mark up on State Provident Fund i.e General Provident Fund (GP Fund) for the fiscal year 2016-17 is as under:-

| 2014-15 | 11.75% |
| 2015-16 | 11.10% |
| 2016-17 | 11.30% |
It is to mention here that the GP Fund Interest Rate 2015-16 Notification was issued on 10-08-2016.
