Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD.SR-I/2-1/95(P) dated 16-08-2017 in connection with Revised GP Fund Subscription Rates 2017 Punjab Govt Employees. Detail is as under:
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974, Governor of the Punjab is pleased to direct that in Punjab General Provident Fund Rules, 1978, the following further amendment shall be made:
AMENDMENT
In Punjab General Provident Fund Rules, 1978, in rule 1-10 for sub-rule (1) the following shall be substituted:
- The subscriber shall pay monthly subscription according to the basic pay scale mentioned in column 1 of the Table at the rate mentioned in column 2 thereof:

THE DEDUCTIONS ON THE BASIS OF THE RATES MENTIONED ABOVE SHALL BE MADE WITH EFFECT FROM THE PAY FOR AUGUST 2017 PAYABLE ON 1ST SEPTEMBER 2017.
