Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department has issued Notification No. SO(Commerce)24-1/13(P) dated 21-08-2017 in connection with Regularization Contract Employees Punjab 2017 (Commerce Stream Contract Employees). Summary is as under:
Pursuant of the approval of the Chief Minister, Punjab, the services of 508 Contract Employees (Teaching & Non-Teaching BPS-16 & above) belonging to commerce stream have been regularized with effect from 1st August 2017.
The aforesaid policy letter dated 10-03-2013 shall be relaxed in the instant case to the extent of these 508 Commerce Stream contract employees only.
