Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD.SO(GOODS)44-4/2016 dated 16-08-2017 in connection with of Ban Upgradation Posts in Punjab 2017.

According to this Notification the following economy measures have been decided during the financial year 2017-18 with immediate effect:

1. Supplementary Grants
2. Placements of Funds in Bank Accounts of Entitles
3. Air Travel
4. Treatment Abroad
5. Ban on Purchase of New Vehicles
6. Ban on Purchase of Durable Goods
7. Furnishing of Houses and Discretionary Grants to the Provincial Ministers
8. Contingent Paid Staff
9. DAC/SDAC Meetings
10. Upgradation of Posts
11. Exemption from Austerity Measures
