Government of the Sindh, Finance Department has submitted a Summary Upgradation Various Posts having Nomenclature Assistants in Department of Culture, Tourism & Antiquities Department.

According to the judgment passed in Civil Review Petition No. 193/2013 by the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Government is required to establish that the department needs re-structuring reforms or to meet exigency of service in public interest. In the absence of these conditions up-gradation of posts is not permissible.

In view of the above, the Administrative Department’s proposal in para 3 above is not supported and may be regretted.

Chief Minister Sindh, may like to to approve para 7 above.
