Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has submitted a Summary Special Allowance @ 50% of Running Basic Pay Scales 2017 for Chief Minister’s Office & Governor’s House/Secretariat. Summary of the same is as under:
Special Secretary to Chief Minister has requested to examine the case regarding grant of Special Allowance @ 50% of running basis pay of Pay Scales 2017 to the officers and staff working in Chief Minister`s Officer and put up a summary for information/ order of the Chief Minister (Annex-A).
- The officers/officials drawing pay from the payroll of Chief Minister`s Secretariat and Governor House/Secretariat were granted Chief Minister`s Secretariat Allowance and Governor`s House/Secretariat Allowance w.e.f. 01.07.2006 at the following rates (Annex-B & C):

| 2. | BS-4 to BS-6 | Rs. 2,000/- p.m. |
| 3. | BS-7 to BS-9 | Rs. 2,500/- p.m. |
| 4. | BS-10 and above | Rs. 3,000/- p.m. |
