Punjab Local Government Board, Local Government Complex Lahore has issued Notification No. LCS (Gen)-8(177)/92(P-IV) dated 21-02-2018 in connection with Time Scale Promotion Local Govt Punjab. The Circular letter bearing No. FD.FC.40-80/2015 dated 26.07.2017 issued by Government of the Punjab, Finance Department with  regard to grant of time scale promotion to incumbents of all promotion/non- promotion posts mentioned in the above referred letter, where none or only one time promoting in the entire service is prescribed in the rules, on satisfactory completion of each 10-years of service, is hereby adopted mutatis mutandis and subsequently applicable to the Member of Local Councils Service/TMA Cadre and Local Government servants of the Metropolitan/Municipal Corporations, District Councils and Municipal Committees in the Punjab including employees of Punjab Local Government Board.

The expenditure incurred on time scale promotion shall be boring out of the funds of respective Local Government and PLG Board.
