Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD.SR-I/3-3/2017 dated 29-11-2017 in connection with Financial Assistance Less Than 10 Years Service, Contract Employees, 4 Months Salary-Punjab Govt Clarification. Summary of the clarifications is as under:

- Financial Assistance for Employee Having Less Than 10 Years Service
- In Which Head the Pay of the Widow shall be debited?
- 4 Months Pay Admissible to the Family
- Deduction of Group Insurance Benevolent Fund
- Salary After the Death of Widow upto 60 Years
- Appointment Under Rule 17-A
- Final Payment of GP Fund, Benevolent Fund & Group Insurance
- Death Leave/Leave Encashment
