Government of the Punjab has issued Punjab Sound System (Regulation) (Amendment) Ordinance 2018 on 12-04-2018. According to this Ordinance now 4 speakers can be used instead of one.

In the Punjab Sound System (Regulation) Act 2015 (XVIII of 2015). In section 4, in subsection (2) in clause (a) for the words “One External Sound System” the expression “not more than four external sound systems” shall be substituted.

اس سے قبل لائوڈ سپیکر ایکٹ کے تحت مساجد پر صرف ایک ہی سپیکر لگانے کی اجازت تھی مگر اب پنجاب حکومت نے لائوڈ سپیکرایکٹ میں ترمیم کر دی ہے اور گورنر پنجاب ملک محمد رفیق رجوانہ نے ترمیم شدہ ایکٹ پر دستخط بھی کر دیئے ہیں جس کے مطابق مساجد پر اب چار سپیکر لگانے کی اجازت ہو گی ۔
