Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Communication has issued Notification on 24-04-2018 in connection with Upgradation of the Posts of JPOs from BPS-05 to BPS-07 & APOs from BPS-07 to BPS-09-Ministry of Communication. Detail is as under:

I am directed to convey the sanction  of the President of Pakistan for the up-gradation of pots of Junior  Patrol Officers (JPOs) from BS-05 to BS-07 and Assistant Patrol Officers (APOs) from BS-07 to Bs-09 respectively subject to amendment in the recruitment rules and filling up of the up-graded posts in the manner prescribed In Establishment Division’s D.O letter No.8/36/2000-R-I, dated 31-12-2008, in National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) under administrative control of Ministry of Communications (Communications Division):-
