Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued Notification No. SO (A-I) 1-31/2008 dated 11-05-2018 in connection with Summer Vacation Punjab Schools wef 17-05-2018. Detail is as under:
In partial modification of Notification of even number dated 1st March, 2018, Summer Vocations for all Public and Private Educational Institutions in Punjab are hereby rescheduled w.e.f. 17th May to 10th August, 2018 instead of 01st June to 14th August, 2018 due to soaring temperatures and start of the Holy month of Ramaz-ul-Mubarak, All the Educational Institutions shall re-open on 11th August, 2018.
The schedule of examinations already announced by CIES and other international organizations shall be following by the educational institutions both in public and private sector.

It is to mention here that the schedule for holidays 2018 Punjab Govt had already issued. Summer vacation in the previous Notification were 1st June 2018 to 14th August 2018. But due to the Holy Month of Ramzan & Increase in Temperature the summer vacation 2018 has been rescheduled by the Punjab Govt.
