Election Commission of Pakistan has issued Notification on 24-05-2018 in connection with Ban on recruitment/Development Schemes etc after 1^st April 2018. Detail is as under:

I am directed to refer to this office Notification No.2(3)/2018-Cord. dated 11^th April, 2016 (Notification of Ban on New Jobs Vacancies Announcement due to Election 2018) under Article 2018 (3) and 220 of the Constitution Section 4.5 and Section 8© of Election Act, 2017 (copy enclosed) and to say that it has been observed that Tender/Recruitment Notices for Procurement/Recruitment etc. from various department are being published in the dailies on regular basic. The Hon’ble Election Commission has taken a serious view of the fact and has desired that all such payments pertaining to the Tenders published after 1^st April, 2018 may be released and stopped forthwith.

It is further requested that, necessary in this may also be conveyed to your subordinate offices for strict compliance, pleased.
