Deputy Attorney General for Pakistan, Lahore High Court Building Lahore has issued letter on 19-06-2018 in connection with Matter of the Regularization Services NICL Employees. Detail is as under:

That above subject case came up for hearing before the Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan on 10-06-2018 at Supreme Court Lahore Registry and I submitted the report on behalf of Secretary Commerce regarding the subject in issue.

That after examining the record and reply submitted on behalf of Ministry of Commerce it was found that aggrieved employees are working against the permanent posts and facing discrimination within same organization. In the light of these circumstances Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan has passed the following orders:

“Let Secretary Commerce be asked to look into the matter and to decide the case keeping in view the rule of equality as envisaged in Article 27 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973. The applicants have given their best ages to the department against permanent posts yet they have not been confirmed/regularized though the posts were never temporary.”

Let a speaking order about regularization be passed within two weeks. Report be submitted accordingly.
