Government of the Punjab, Local Government & Community Development Department has issued letter on 27-07-2018 in connection with Upgradation of the Post of Accounts Clerk from BPS-06 to BPS-07. Detail is as under:

The undersigned is directed to refer to your letter No. 460/MOF dated 14-05-2018 on the subject cited above and to convey that the request to upgrade the post of Accounts Clerk from BPS-06 to BPS-15 is not tenable. However Municipal Committee may consider the case of Mr. Liaqat Ali Accounts Clerk to the grant of time scale if he is otherwise eligible and fulfill the conditions as laid down in the Finance Department letter No. FD.PC. 40-80 /2015 26.02.2017 duly adopted by this Department, circular No. LSC (GEN) -8,(177) /92(P-IV) dated 21-02-2018 (Copies enclosed).
