Government of Sindh, Finance Department has issued 16-09-2018 in connection with No Change in Date of Birth After Entry Into Govt Service. Detail is as under:
I am directed to refer to letter bearing No. D.A O/DAD/2016 dated 04th September, 2018 received from District Accounts Officer, Kashmore @ Kandhkot regarding captioned subject.

2. Attention is invited to the Rule 12-A of the Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1974 (copy enclosed)-

“The date vof birth once recorded by a Civil Servant at the time of joining government service shall be final and no alteration therefore should be permissible”.

3. Therefore, it is advised that in future cases related to the subject captioned above be treated strictly in the light of rule 12-A of APT Rules, 1974.
