I shall here explain the procedure of Calculation of Joining Time on Transfer of Government Employee. The detail is based on the DDO Handbook updated in 2009. Detail is as under:
The joining time normally is 7 days. Seven days include 6 days preparation time and one day journey time. 2nd day of travelling involves where the distance is 400 Kilometer or longer. Sunday is not counted for the calculation of joining time.
