Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department has issued Notification on 11-12-2018 in connection with Ban Transfer Posting Punjab 2018. Detail is as under:

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that the Chief Minister, Punjab has been pleased to impose complete ban on all kind of transfers / postings except against vacant posts, with immediate effect, till further orders. The under-process procedure for postings/ transfer in School Education Department shall hardship / compassionate or extreme administrative grounds, prior approval will be sought from Chief Minister through summary. The ban on new recruitment in Punjab has already been imposed during previous week. 

2.  In view of the above, I am further directed to request you to follow the above mentioned directions regarding ban on posting / transfer in letter and spirit.
