The Competent Authority i.e CAA Board in its 177^th meeting held on 30^th November 2018 has accord approval for payment /disbursement of 20% Special Allowance to all entitled CAA employees as per following paragraphs:

2.  All Officers of(EG-01 to EG-10) and Staff of (SG-01 to SG-11) who are not eligible for any Trade Specific Allowance, on the date of issuance of this Admin Order, shall been titled for grant of Special Allowance @ 20% of running basic pay with effect from 1^st July 2014 subject to conditions as enumerated in Para 6& 7 below.

3. All Officers of (EG-01 to EG-10) and Staff of (SG-01 toSG-11) who are drawing less than @ 20% trade specific allowance, shall been titled to the partial balance amount as Special Allowance which will be equivalent to proceeds minus the trade specific allowance already being disbursed.

4. All retired Officers of (EG-01 to EG-10) and Staff of (EG-01to EG-11) who are entitled for grant of Special Allowance @ 20% of running basic pay with effect from 1^st July 2014 as per this Admin Order shall be disbursed all arrears with immediate effect.

5.  All Officers of  (EG-01 to EG-10) and Staff of (EG-01 to EG-11)who are drawing equal to or more than @ 20% trade specific allowance on the date of issuance of this Admin Order, shall not be entitled for Special Allowance @20%.

6.  The arrears of Special Allowance @ 20% shall be calculated on the basic of Basic pay effective as on 1^st July, 2014 for financial year 2014-2015,2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 till June 30, 2018.

7.  The arrears of Special Allowance @ 20% for the Year 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 shall be capped on the running basic pay effective on July 1, 2014. The arrears of Special Allowance shall be disbursed to entitled officers and staff in installments,to be paid within three years or earlier.
