Government of the Punjab Finance Department has issued Notification on 14-12-2018 in connection with Notification of Re-Designation& Upgradation of Store Keeping Related Posts, Audit Related Posts &Various Other Posts. Summary is as under:
I am directed to state that the store keeping related posts carry different nomenclatures, pay scales and prescribed qualification as given in columns ‘B’ & ‘C’ below. The Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to restructure these posts with prescribed qualification, pay scales and designations as given in Column “D’, & ‘E’read with observations given under the table:
- Where prescribed qualification for the post of Store Keeper is Matric, it would be re-designated as Junior Store Keeper (BS-7) through amendment in the service rules and in case in the incumbent of such post is holding higher pay scale that would be personal to him.
- Where the prescribed qualification for the post of Store Keeper is Intermediate (2nd Division) +25 wpm typing speed,it would be re-designated as Store Keeper (BS-11) through amendment in the service rules and in case the incumbent of such post of promotion against the post is drawing high pay scale that would be personal to him.
- Where the post of Senior Store Keeper is filled by promotion from amongst Junior/Assistant Store Keeper, the rules would be got amended for provision of promotion against the post of Store Keeper instead of Senior Store Keeper.
- Where only one tier is available, the incumbent of such posts would be allowed time scale promotion after each 8 years as detailed above.

I have been appointed as Cashier BS-7 at Multan Institute of Cardiology Multan on 25-04-2009 having qualification D.Com with Accounts as per eligibility criteria framed in Ministerial Posts Service Rules 2003 of Health Department. And my higher qualification is B.Com and i am working in Finance Department (Budget Section).
I want clarification about my re-designation & up-gradation whether my post Cashier BS-7 will be up-graded and re-designated as per Notification of Finance Department for Accounts Related Posts.

What a discrimination with Auditor holding the post of Auditor BS-14, whereas Senior Auditor of BS-08 enjoys the benefit of BS-16 just due to word “Senior” Instead of BS foolish & blind upgradation

Shop Assistants should also be upgraded and even all posts having the same nature of work should be upgraded.
