Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department has issued Notification on 09-01-2019 in connection with ADB Japan Scholarship Programme. Detail is as under:

 I am directed to refer to the subject noted above.
2.  I am further directed to state that the University of Tsukuba is  offering Scholarship for Master`s Program in Economic and public Policy (PEPP), under the Aslan Development Bank (ADB) Japan Scholarship Program at the Graduate School of Humanities of Social Sciences, University of Tsukuba. The Objective of PEPP is to provide, within the time frame of 18 months, training and the necessary skills for the conception, design and implementation of development policies. The  program focus is on International Development with a trans-disciplinary approach to the economic and social problems of developing and transition countries.     

3.  It is, therefore, requested to furnish the nomination of the officers, if any, for the subject scholarship by 20.01.2019. Nomination of the PAS and PMS (ex-PCS/PSS) officers may be furnished to this department alongwith C.V, foreign training performs in respect of the nominees whereas, nomination of department employees may be sent directly to the P&D Department for consideration at the Provincial Special Selection Board (PSSB). The nominees are also required to apply for the subject Scholarship Program directly on the University website besides, sending their nomination to the S&GAD with approval of the concerned Competent Authority.
