Government of the Punjab, Local Government & Community Development Department has issued Notification on 25-01-2019 in connection with Monitoring of Attendance of Sanitation / Waste Management Staff of Waste Management Companies. Detail is as under:

The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that LG&CD Department has directed to the officers / officials of the department, Directorate General, LG&CD, Punjab Local Government Board and Secretaries, Union Councils to verify cleanliness activities and presence of all the concerned officials in cities where waste management companies are established and also in other local councils. This monitoring staff will physically verify the field staff of sanitation and waste management on daily basis to furnish reports to LG&CD Department as desired by the Competent Authority.

2.    I am directed by the Competent Authority to request you to extend full cooperation to the monitoring staff of LG&CD Department and attached departments in marking attendance and physical verification of cleanness activities and improved service delivery in sanitation.
