Notification Regarding Health Professional Allowance to the Pharmacists

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued on 27-02-2019 in connection with Notification Regarding Health Professional Allowance to the Pharmacists. Detail is as under:

Will the Section Officer (B&A), Government of The Punjab, Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, kindly refer to his letter No. SO (B&A) 3-28/2017, dated 12.02.2019, on the subject noted above?

2.   In pursuance of Chief Minister`s approval, Finance Department conveys its concurrence to the grant of Health Professional Allowance across the board @ Rs. 15,000/- p.m. for Pharmacists in BS-17 and @ Rs. 10,100/- p.m. for the Pharmacists in BS-18, BS-19 and BS-20 working under the Administrative control of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department and Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department subject to the condition that Pharmacists working in all Drug Testing Laboratories (DTLs) in Punjab will not be entitled for grant of Health Professional Allowance as they are already in receipt of Technical Allowance.

  1. Dear Sir,
    I am a senior doctor,not working in health deptt of Govt of the Punjab.
    My deptt has agreed to provide all admissible allowances to me since my date of joining,as are allowed for doctors in Health Deptt Govt of the Punjab.

    I understand that such allowances would be

    1.NPA Non practicing allowance

    2.HPA Health Professional allowance.

    3.Special Health care allowance.

    And maybe Health sector Reform allowance as well.

    I need the copies of notifications of these allowances from their starting date,up till now.

    I have searched your wonderful site,but hasn’t found all the notifications in choronological sequence.

    Moreover my department refused to upgrade my post in 2012 because the member finance gave a document that there was a ban on up gradation at that time.

    But since then that ban might have lifted many times.

    They gave me an allowance in lieu of up gradation.

    Should I apply now that the said compensation allowance should have Increased annually with increase in pay or inflation of governments annual increases in budget ?

    I need your kind advice upon it.

    I do hope that like you have helped so many,I will be immensely benefitted too by your humane selfless service towards humanity.

    I am near retirement and your help will greatly facilitate me.
