The Provincial Police Office / IGP, Punjab has issued letter on 04-04-2019 in connection with Instructions Regarding Ex-Pakistan Earned Leave. Detail is as under:

Please refer to this office memo, No. 2331/EXEC-III, dated 28.07.2017, on the subject cited above.
2. It is stated that DIG, Tele & Transport, Punjab has forwarded the proposal od SSP, Motor Transport, Punjab, wherein following changes in ex-Pakistan leave and leave for Umrah have been proposed:
| Sr.# | Existing instructions | Proposed amendments |
| i. | Calendar yearly ceiling of ex-Pakistan leave for twenty (20 days is hereby fixed which may be availed in one or multiple foreign visits. | This may not include Hajj/Umrah leave. |
| ii. | For Umrah, upto fifteen (15) days ex-Pakistan leave will be allowed. | For Umrah, upto twenty five (25) days ex-Pakistan leave may be allowed. |
3. Please furnish views/comments on the said proposal of DIG, Tele & Transport, Punjab within seven days.
