Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued Notification on 11-04-2019 in connection with Departmental Promotion Committee Meeting. Detail is as under:

In continuation of Departmental Promotion Committee meeting, held on 28 & 29.03.2019, which was put of till the approval of Chief Minister / Competent Authority regarding relaxation of result criteria, on a summary already submitted for the purpose. (copy of the minutes of said meeting are enclosed herewith).

2.  I am directed to submit that Departmental Promotion Committee meeting is scheduled to be held on 15 & 16.04.2019 at 11:00AM under the Chairpersonship of Additional Secretary (Schools), Govt. of the Punjab, School Education Department in the committee room of School Education Department.

The following items will be discussed:-

Item No 1. Regular Promotion from BS-17 to BS-18 of 314 male officers (General Cadre).

Item No 2. Regular Promotion from BS-17 to BS-18 of 340 female officers (General Cadre).

Item No 3. Regular Promotion from BS-16 to BS-17 of 61 male officers as Subject Specialist. (General Cadre).

Item No 4. Regular Promotion from BS-16 to BS-17 of 128 female officers as Subject Specialist. (General Cadre).

Item No 5. Regular Promotion from BS-16 to BS-17 of 421 male officers as Headmasters (General Cadre).

Item No 6. Regular Promotion from BS-16 to BS-17 of 61 male officers as Headmasters (General Cadre).

2.    It is, therefore, requested to depute a representative from Regular Wing of S&GAD to attend the DPC meeting on the scheduled date and time (Working papers of Items No. 1 to items No. 6 gave already been submitted vide this department`s letter of number even dated  25.03.2019).
