Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Health Department has issued Notification on 30-04-2019 in connection with Employees Will Not Leave Their Place of Duty without Prior Permission. Detail is as under:
No.SOH(E&A)H/4-138. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the West Pakistan Essential Services (Maintenance) Act, 1958 (WP, Act No. XXXIV of 1958), read with this Department`s Notifications No. S&A(Health)4-138/Declaration of HS/2011, dated: 13th June, 2012, No. SO(R-II)/E&AD/1-6/2009, dated: 8th February, 2016, the Government of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is pleased to direct that all persons working or engaged in the public sector health establishments including in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution, imparting services in the public sector including administrative, Curative, rehabilitative, preventive, promotion and supportive services, partially or fully funded from the general exchequer and are under direct or indirect control of Government, shall not depart or leave their place of duty without prior permission of the competent authority and shall not abandon or discontinue their official duties in the best public interest for a period of three months from the date of issuance of this Order.
2. Any person as referred above, who is found to have violated this Order shall be subject to criminal prosecution under the West Pakistan Essential Services (Maintenon) Act, 1958.
