Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department has issued Notification on 08-04-2019 in connection with Summer Vacation 2019 Punjab and Other Public and Optional Holidays 2019. Summary is as under:

In pursuance of provisions contained in Article 37 & 41 of the Punjab Education Code, the following schedule of holidays would be observed in all the Educational Institutions (Public / Private) and Universities of the province during the Calendar Year 2019.  

Schedule of Summer Vacation 2019 Punjab

Summer Vacation 2019 will be observed with effect from 4^th June 2019 to 14^th August 2019 for the plain areas and short summer break for hilly areas will be observed wef 16^th to 29^th July 2019.

Schedule of Winter Vacation 2019 Punjab

Winter break for Hilly Areas will start from 20^th January 2020 and end at 4^th April 2020. In the meanwhile winter vacation for plain areas will be observed 25^th December 2019 to 31^st December 2019.
