Government of Gilgit Baltistan has issued Notification on 28-05-2019 in connection with Promotion of Superintendents and Private Secretaries. Detail is as under:

No.SO(S)-I-(60)2019. Having been recommended by the Departmental Promotion committee (DPC), the Chief Secretary, Gilgit-Baltistan has been pleased to approve promotions of the following Superintendents/Private Secretaries (BS-17) of Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat against the posts of Section Offices BS-17 on regular basis with immediate effect in GB Civil Services (OMS) under S&GA Department;

2.  They will be on probation for a period of one year, extendable for a further period of one year under Section 5, Sub Section (2) of Gilgit-Baltistan Civil Servants Act, 2011. If no order is issued on expiry of first year of probation, they shall be deemed to have been extended for a further period of one year.
