Executive Summary for Cabinet – Retirement Age from 60 to 63 Years

Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department has issued letter on 11-06-2019 in connection with Executive Summary for Cabinet – Retirement Age from 60 to 63 Years. Summary is as under:

According to the Civil Servant Act, 1973, “a civil servant is a person who is member of a civil service of the Province (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), or who holds a civil post in connection with the affairs of the Province (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) (Annexure-II), A civil servant is entitled to receive pension after retirement if he / she has rendered at least ten years or more service at the age of 60 years in light of Civil Servant Pension Rules and order 2006. There are four major types of pension (a) Retiring Pension (b) Superannuation Pension (c) Medically Invalid Pension (d) Family Pension (Annexure-II).
