Chief Minister Office Punjab has issued orders on 25-08-2019 in connection with Ban on All Transfer Posting 2019 in Punjab province. The same letter has been forwarded to Additional Chief Secretary, Punjab, Secretary to Chief Minister (Coordination), CMO, Special Secretary (Implementation), CMO and PSO to Chief Minister Punjab. Detail is as under:

Chief Minister Punjab is pleased to imposed complete ban on all kinds of transfers / postings with immediate effect till further orders.

In case any posting / transfer which is required to made on extreme hardship / compassionate on administrative grounds, prior approval will be sought from the Chief Minister through summary details of tenure of the officer and vacancy position, etc.

If you have any extreme position then Chief Minister Punjab can only give the approval of transfer posting during the period of Ban on All Transfer Posting 2019 in the province of Punjab.
