Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administrations Department (Section Welfare-I) has issued Notification on 17-12-2019 in connection with Public Holidays 2020 Punjab Govt. Detail is as under:

No.SOW-1(S&GAD)1-4/2018(P-III): It is hereby notified for general information that the following Public and Optional Holidays declared by the Federal Government, shall be observed in the offices under the administration control of the Government of the Punjab during the calendar year 2020:

Public Holidays 2020 include Kashmir Day, Pakistan day, Labour Day, Independence Day, Quaid-e-Azam Day / Christmas Holidays, Moharram and Eid Holidays.

Optional Holidays 2020

The Notification also mentioned all the optional holidays for the year 2020 in the Province of Punjab. Main optional holidays are of Holi, Diwali, new year holidays etc.

It is to inform here that the 2020 Holidays by Ministry of Interior has already issued on 05-12-2029 for the federal Government employees of Pakistan.
