Upgradation of Computer Personnel Home Department Punjab
- The case has been examined and it is observed that the incumbents of the post of Data Entry Operator / System Operator (BS-12) were appointed on the basis of prescribed qualification of F.A/ ICS or F.Sc and have no upper tier for promotion. Their services were regularized with effect from 14.10.2009. As such, they earned more than 08-years’ service at their credit as on 14.12.2018. According to Finance Department’s Notification No.FD.PC.40-43/2017(E), dated 14.12.2018, they are eligible to be placed in the same scale i.e, BS-12 as Junior Computer Operator with effect from 14.12.2018 and Time Scale Promotion to upper tier BS-15 with its re-designation as Computer Operator with effect from 14.12.2018.
