Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification on 17-12-2019 in connection with Upgradation of the Post of Accountants Punjab Bailt-ul-Maal from BPS-13 to BPS-16. Detail is as under:

With the Section Officer (ESTT.), Government of the Punjab, SW&BM Department, kindly refer to his letter No.SO(E)10-6/2008-P-IV, dated 16-12-2019, on the subject noted above?

Finance Department, in pursuance of the approval of the Competent Authority i. e Chief Minister, in relaxation of ban on up-gradation of 31 posts of Accountants from BPS-13 to BPS-16 with effect from 01-12-2017 as personal to them which were upgraded by DGW&BM vide order No. DGSW/LO/DNMC/Up-Gradation/2571-2720, dated 01-12-2017 in Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department.

However, fresh recruitment against the post of Accountant would be made in BPS-15 in terms of Finance Department’s Notification No. FD.PC.40-43/2017(B) dated 14-12-2018 after amendment in relevant service rules.

Audit copy may kindly be got authenticated from the Finance Department accordingly.
